2018 ASMAC Fall Conference
2018 CONFERENCE OVERVIEW:
|The American Society of Medical Association Counsel is pleased to invite all ASMAC members to the beautiful historic Hotel Del Coronado for the 44th Annual ASMAC Fall Conference. The Hotel Del Coronado, a historic beachfront hotel sits just across the bay from San Diego, California. Built in 1887, it is one of the few surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts. Since opening in 1888, the hotel has hosted presidents, royalty, and celebrities, been featured in numerous movies and books, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
The Fall Conference provides 9-11 continuing legal education credits (Illinois MCLE Board). Each day begins with a full breakfast, 3 to 4 continuing education sessions, roundtable discussions and afternoon group activities in the afternoon. The conference is noted for being casual with ample time and opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas and take a deeper dive into information presented in formal sessions. Most presenters have allowed extra time to participate in social activities, so we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.
The Hotel Del Coronado is located in the seaside community of Coronado offering amply outdoor adventures, a variety of onsite activities (bicycle rentals, cooking classes, spa treatments, historic tours, fitness classes) and offsite activities, including sailing, golf, brewery tours, and behind the scenes tours of the San Diego Zoo and Sea World.
