ASMAC Membership Types
ATTORNEY MEMBERS (Firm) - $420
- Attorneys substantially and regularly engaged in the service of a medical association or society; or
- Attorneys substantially and regularly engaged in representation of physicians and physician interests.
- Group membership discounts are available for 3rd and subsequent members from any firm.

TTORNEY MEMBERS (Medical Society) - $295
- Attorneys substantially and regularly engaged in the service of a medical association or society; or
- Group membership discounts are available for 3rd and subsequent members from any association.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS - $220.00
- A non-attorney whose primary job responsibilities include some aspect of healthcare advocacy. The person must be an employee of a national or state medical association or society within the federation of the AMA.
EMERITUS MEMBERS - $50
- Retired attorneys who met the criteria for attorney membership during their employed career.
STUDENT MEMBERS - $50
- Students enrolled in an accredited United States law school with interest in health law.
Membership dues are billed annually on January 1 for the full calendar year (January 1 to December 31). Please see the ASMAC bylaws (Download ASMAC Bylaws) for a complete list of membership requirements. Applicants who are not employees of a state or national medical association or society must provide evidence of sponsorship by an eligible medical association or society.
